Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that influence the knowledge-sharing behavior of 250 employees at branches of a joint stock commercial bank system owned by one of Vietnam’s big four (VietinBank). In this study, descriptive statistical approaches, Cronbach’s alpha, EFA exploratory factor analysis, and multivariate regression were used. According to the study's findings, five variables positively influence employees’ knowledge-sharing behavior: trust, communication, leadership attention, rewards, and information technology. The study's findings have made an academic contribution by providing empirical data and enriching theory on knowledge-sharing behavior in the banking sector. Furthermore, the research has offered a number of management implications to encourage knowledge-sharing behavior among employees in the VietinBank system in particular and may offer, in general, tentative insights for state-owned commercial banks operating in similar institutional environments
